As you can see we did indeed have a big snow storm. It was so bad that they literally cancelled all meetings on Sunday. I just have to laugh, I could still see the grass! But in defense of the decision, it did rain before the snow so there was ice under the snow and I am sure the city probably only owns 1-2 snow plows. Additionally, people that have lived here very long really don't have the practice of driving in snow. Because most people stayed home throughout the entire community, it was really a very peaceful and relaxing day. We didn't realize how much traffic noise we get until it was gone.

The first picture here is showing you what a "BIG" hill we have in our backyard. The kids really enjoyed playing on it and were out there for hours. Afterward they made "real" snow cones and ate the snow from an untouched area of snow in the front yard. They just couldn't understand why they were so cold!

Jared taking the sled up the "BIG" hill in our backyard. They were even dumping water on the snow in an attempt to make ice for ramps!

Here is Adam just being cute, as always. It is nice that he is old enough to play out there with the kids without crying or having trouble with his gloves. Last year I was putting his gloves back on every few minutes because he kept taking them off only to discover that it was indeed cold outside.
