Adam turned 4 yesterday!

What a great day it was. He didn't even have a case of the grumpy birthday kid syndrome. All day long he would ask people and things if it was their "birtay". He would then laugh and say "No, it is my birtay and my name is Adam." It was so cute! We fixed alien pancakes for breakfast (although I think they look more like bugs than aliens). Present time was a bunch of fun as well. Adam truly loved all his gifts (in fact, all the kids loved all his gifts!) However, the most treasured of all was his first Webkinz. He truly feels like he has achieved big kid status now. He keeps telling me how he now has one and has to show me the "W" stamp on the foot.

We ended up having a snow day today (however the snow never stuck). So the kids played all day long with his gifts. He did a fabulous job of sharing. Mikayla started to get a little irritated though because he kept asking her to show him things on the Webkinz site and she was ready to do something different. When one of the boys said they would help him, she would change her mind and decide it was okay. I believe it was probably one of the happiest birthdays we have had in a while - how refreshing!
